Books not taking New York bettors?

I have run into situations where it seems some books specicifically don't take customers from NY. Is there a reason for this? And can anyone recommend a book other than Bookmaker where they will take me as a custome and I can also get a 50% bonus for a new customer?

I contactd Bovada and they don't take NY players. They said they can't get deposit options because of the restrictions placed on them. So, how does places like Bookmaker and YouWager (which I have accounts for) do it?

Have you tried Heritage?

Yeah, I found some other options, but I was just curious as to why. I know they have cracked down on Western Union. Anything suspicious and they block or freeze accounts. But there are so many options I just can't understand how when it comes to NY some of these place can't take NY players
